What is the vision of headingforparty?
The vision of headingforparty is to create the opportunity of partying and connecting with open- and like-minded people at any time in every city in the world. That's why our motto is: Meet new people – rock the night!
What is headingforparty about?
headingforparty is a party community platform. It enables PartyPeople worldwide to get connected and meet each other for going out and then party together. That’s why you can organise PrePartys at headingforparty.
All features of headingforparty relate to PrePartys. At headingforparty you won’t find any social games, no Fortune Cookies, no tennis partners, no free accommodation and you also can’t poke anyone. headingforparty is about PrePartys – and PrePartys only.

After the party it’s easy to stay in touch via the platform with your PartyPeople for partying at other occasions. But it's also fine just to have one good party together and leave it there.
How does a PreParty work?
A PreParty is announced by a host on headingforparty. They decide where the PreParty takes place (e.g. at home, in a pub, in a restaurant, in a park, etc.), with how many guests they want to party and where the want to go out afterwards.
Once the host has announced the PreParty, other PartyPeople can apply as guests. If someone only wants to participate together with a buddy, they can send the host a so-called 'Buddy Request'.
We send all PreParty Requests to the host. They then decide with whom they want to spend the PreParty and the further night by accepting the requests they find interesting and likeable. The accepted PartyPeople then get an invitation for the PreParty. This invitation contains the PreParty’s confidential information – e.g. the host’s address, if the PreParty takes place at his home.
At the PreParty the host and all the invited PartyPeople can get to know each other in a small and intimate setting before heading for the party.
What is the PreParty Code?
headingforparty requires an open-minded, respectful, and friendly interaction among the PartyPeople. This is the essence of headingforparty.
The PreParty Code serves as a guideline for good PreParty behaviour. Even though most of the stated points are common-sense anyway. That’s why all PartyPeople should honour the PreParty Code. This will contribute to a positive PreParty experience.
Whoever doesn’t agree upon the PreParty Code should reconsider partying with headingforparty.

Can I use headingforparty also when traveling?
Yes! You can announce or apply for PrePartys in every city in the world. This way you’ll not only meet local PartyPeople but also get to know the cities’ hot spots.
By the way: Every PreParty announcement contains information about the languages spoken at the PreParty. Another hint: Fill in your profile in English. That’s how more PartyPeople will be able to understand your description.

Why is headingforparty NOT a dating platform?
headingforparty is a platform for meeting open- and like-minded people who want to meet new, go out together and share a party experience. To make sure that everybody feels comfortable one should not abuse headingforparty as a pick-up platform. For pick-up purposes please use another website.
How old do I need to be for signing up at headingforparty?
You have to be at least 16 years old.
I want to sign up at headingforparty. How does it work?
If you want to register at headingforparty, click here. After the registration we will send you an activation link by email. After clicking on this link, you can fill in your personal information at your profile, announce and apply for PrePartys.
What’s the purpose of the profile information?
Your profile gives you the opportunity to present yourself to the other PartyPeople. Your information will help other PartyPeople to decide whether they would like to party with you.
In order to introduce yourself to other PartyPeople, you can fill in the following information:
- What I do
- What interests and excites me
- Languages I speak
- Locations I like to rock
- Music I love listening to
Feedback? Recommendations? Eh?
Feedback helps other PartyPeople to decide with whom they like to party next. So please describe your experience of the PartyPeople at your PrePartys you attended – independently of whether the experience was positive, neutral or negative. Needless to say, you should always be open and honest in giving feedback. Note that you can only give feedback to PartyPeople you met at a PreParty.
Recommendations are special distinctions for all PartyPeople. You can write them only for PartyPeople from the group of My PartyPeople. Please recommend other PartyPeople only if you really know and trust them and, most importantly, especially enjoy to party with them.
Who can see my profile information? How is my information protected?
The PartyPeoples’ profiles can't be found via external search engines (e.g. Google) and can only be viewed by other registered users.
If you don’t want your profile to be found by the internal search engine of headingforparty, you can activate the 'Unfindable Mode'.

How do I delete my profile?
All PartyPeople can delete their profile at all times. To delete a profile, click 'Settings / Delete Profile'. All personal user data will then be unrecoverably deleted.
How can I announce a PreParty?
Within the PreParty announcement you can set time and place for your PreParty. Whether you want to host your PreParty at home, in a pub, in a restaurant, in a park, or someplace else is totally up to you. At any rate, the exact address of your PreParty location is confidential and only visible for those PartyPeople you accept and invite.
Every PreParty announcement also contains the information about with how many guests for want to share your PreParty, the languages spoken at your PreParty and where you what to go out after the PreParty.
If you choose ‘Invitation only’, your PreParty announcement can’t be found via the search function of headingforparty. This means that only PartyPeople you invite personally can apply for your PreParty. Note: When choosing ‘Invitation only’ you can just invite PartyPeople from the group of 'My PartyPeople'.
What can I do if I don’t what to join a PreParty alone?
Using the ‘Buddy Request’ you can apply for a PreParty together with one of the PartyPeople from the group of 'My PartyPeople'. Then the host can either accept or reject both of you.
